The Valley Tree Group Home was licensed in Nov 2009. This is a 6 bed Behavior Focused Home. There are 4 Private Rooms and 1 Semi Private Room. This home is located conveniently in the Brandon/Seffner area near I-75 & MLK; close to the Brandon Hospital and other supportive services and community inclusion opportunities. The Edwards Group Home was licensed 10 Feb 2011 and is truly a comfortable country-like home setting resting on 1 acre in Plant City next to farms with cows and horses and beautiful open sky. It has a large patio, huge backyard for exercise and relaxation, 2 car garage for storage & laundry and has 2 single rooms and 2 semi-private rooms. The home is fully furnished and the Agency is flexible to allow the choice of the individual to bring their personal items &/or furnishings. This home is also less than 5 minutes from the Macdonald Training Center – James Ranch ADT; where individuals may have the opportunity to complete meaningful day activities and or develop vocational skills. About Us:
Dane Jones; the Administrator has an extensive nursing and therapeutic care background. As a Retired Air Force Medical Technician & Training Manager and LPN with over twenty six years experience he has provided medical, nursing and therapeutic care for people with special needs and served as a key member using the treatment team approach. Dane has a B.S. in Health Sciences and completed the Masters of Health Administration from Chapman University. Dane also served as a Healthcare Quality Analyst and is a Crisis Management Instructor who conducts staff training and oversight. Locally Dane has worked for the North side Mental Health, The Mental Health Crisis Center and Florida Dept. of Corrections Nursing.
Kimberly Jones; the Director; has over 20 years experience with medical, nursing and human services. Kimberly completed the Assisted Living Administrators Core Training and she currently manages and provides oversight and supervision for the Accounting, Budgetary and Medicaid Billing & Pay Processes, Human Resources, Quality Compliance, Facility Development Services and Global Agency Operations. Kimberly has also successfully managed accounts and supervised personnel responsible for over 20 residences.
Dane and Kimberly have a “hands on and team approach” towards providing services and staff development. They consistently encourage all staff to provide the individuals being served with opportunities to choose their own goals and paths in life. Dane & Kimberly meet with clients regularly to encourage positive outcomes and meet with staff to motivate them to be leaders while serving and supporting individuals who choose our homes.
All Royal Care staff are experienced and provided with training for Certification in Behavior Assistant Services and Professional Crisis Management. We are excited to have the opportunity to serve your clients. We have caring and patient staff that are dedicated to the person centered approach to continue and/or develop individualized goals and skill sets. Royal Care is contracted with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for Behavioral Services and oversight and clinical Dietician for Nutritionally Served Meals.
