Community Inclusive Adult Day Training Program
- Focusing on a variety of cultural & community interest, appropriate socialization, living skills, cooking, nutrition, exercise, money, music, crafts, gardening, & community safety skills. Weekly fieldtrips and outings.
- Offering a unique academic, interesting and fun daily program that is person centered around individual goals in a safe, friendly and homelike atmosphere.
- MedWaiver & Family Supported Living Waiver accepted
- Transportation and Day program provided Monday through Friday. Serving Dade City, Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, Land O’ Lakes and New Tampa areas.
Personal Care Assistance, Companion, In Home Supports, Respite, Supported Living, Supported Employment, Adult Day Training & Transportation.

Some of the exciting things that our students have the opportunity to do are: participate in large and small instructional group time to retain the knowledge that they have worked so hard to learn, learning how to make tasty treats, going on fieldtrips to local attractions like the Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo and Historic Florida State Park Tours.
- Students help choose the curriculum that they want to study about for the year, where they want to go for field trips and where they want to go to eat.
- Staff and students hold parties to celebrate special occasions like birthdays and holidays.
- Students help take care of their ADT including the Angel Wings Memorial Garden that was created to help us remember students, staff and family members that have passed away.
- Students receive a trophy or medallion at an annual award ceremony they have earned during the year.
- A Spring Fling is held annually with an Easter Egg Hunt for everyone to participate in and earn prizes.
- The annual Christmas party with Santa Claus is a big hit! He brings a gift to everyone after we read the story of Christmas, eat lunch and sing carols.
- Students learn songs and plays and perform for others in the community and on special occasions.
Meet the owners
Terry & Karen Pergerson
Director: Terry W. Pergerson
- Terry holds a degree in Social Services and has spent over 19 years working with Developmentally Disabled adults and children.
- He has over 29 years of management experience.
- He has work experience in both Florida and North Carolina.
- He has opened 3 group homes for the Developmentally Disabled and 1 group home for Traumatically Brain Injured adults.
- He has managed 3 Adult Day Training Programs with over 85 students.
Assistant Director: Karen W. Pergerson
- Karen has a degree in Elementary & Early Childhood Education.
- She is teacher certified in both Florida and North Carolina.
- She is a published author who enjoys writing children’s books that will be of benefit to others who face difficult experiences.
- She has worked as an Education Specialist for Mental Health organizations and as a Compensatory Education Instructor for 50 students at a sheltered workshop.
- She has worked for the public school system in East Pasco.
- She writes the curriculum for Angel Training Center’s Adult Day Training Program using over 21 years teaching experience.
Terry was born and raised in North Carolina. Karen is a Florida native. They have resided in Dade City, Florida for over 12 years and love the peacefulness of this community. They have three beautiful children; one young man and two little girls.
In 2001, Terry and Karen left their jobs in the education field to open Angels Unique. The business expanded quickly due to the increasing need for quality community services in Pasco County. Angel Training Center was opened in June 2002 to meet the demand for a structured, community inclusive adult day training program in East Pasco.
In December 2008 they opened an Adult Day Care for Seniors in Dade City. Through much work, they have accomplished something that once was just a dream!
Antique Angels by
Angels Unique, is Dade City’s newest adult day care for Senior Citizens. They are now accepting applications for Seniors Citizens in need of day care. They assist Seniors with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, continued care after rehabilitation, or day assistance for Senior’s to stay as independent as possible.
The program is ideal to help seniors stay in their own home or to stay in a family home (giving caregivers a break) instead of having to move to a nursing home.
They assist seniors to be as independent as possible while providing them the with unique opportunities to socialize, interact with others, participate in music, crafts, games, current events, gardening, and enjoy entertainment.
Transportation, snacks and meals are provided for each senior that attends the day care. Delicious meals are catered each day and are provided as part of the cost for the senior day care.
Funding is provided by Medicaid, Title IIIE, Independent Living Systems, Aged and Disabled Med Waiver, Community Care for the Elderly, Private Insurance, and Private Pay is also accepted. If a senior needs to apply for funding they should call the Senior Helpline at 1-800-963-5337.
Other services offered: Companion, Homemaker and Respite services.

*Clean drivers record and ability to drive a 14 passenger van is required.
*Fingerprinting, FDLE and FBI, local criminal history check, affidavit of good moral character, 3 personal references, High School Diploma/GED are required.
*One year of experience in related field (day care/school, medical, seniors, developmentally disabled, CNA, Home Health Aid, etc.)
*Lifting /transferring may be required with some positions.
*You must be willing & able to work in Zephyrhills, Dade City,
Ridge Manor, Wesley Chapel & The New Tampa areas.
*Reading & writing legible & documenting accurately required.
*CPR, First Aid, Zero Tolerance for Abuse/Neglect, Medication Side Effects Developmental Disabilities Overview, HIPPA and Universal Precautions. Competency training and Alzheimer’s Training required
*Pay starts at $8.-$10. an hour Payroll is once per month and distributed by Paychex@
(For new employees, exceptions can be made in the beginning.)
