GMS Nursing Association, Inc. is a 24 hours, 7 Days a week operation owned and operated by Guido Lopez as Administrator and Mercedes Lopez as Director of Nursing. Guido Lopez graduated from MDCC and has served as a Registered Nurse in ICU, CCU, Oncology, Med-Surge and Telemetry units. Also, he has experience as Doctor in General Medicine gained while resided in Cuba. Mercedes Lopez is a Registered Nurse graduated from the on-site program of Baptist Hospital and has worked in Long Term Acute Care and recognized Home Care Agencies, which has amplified her leadership skill for the convenience of the patients, families and team care.
We are confident our experience and knowledge in patient care and the ability to administer and guide our office and nursing staff to produce high-quality of services can provide much value to our center and benefit to our clients. Beside to our responsibilities as administrator and DON, our duties focused on performing needs assessment, evaluating levels of care, and developing and implementing appropriate plans of care for our patient and families. Therefore; the services rendered by other nurses are based in the patient needs and in compliance with Medicare / Medicaid rules in compliance with the policies and procedures of other insurances which are mentioned below:
